Weidian Store Links vs Product Links: How to Identify the Right URL
A Weidian store link identifies a seller's shop; a product link identifies one item. To open a specific item in Superbuy, start with the product link and check its itemID. A store ID is not a substitute for a product ID.
The practical difference
| Link type | What it opens | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| Store page | A seller catalogue or storefront | Browsing that seller's items |
| Product page | One listing, with its options | Identifying the item you intend to order |
| Share or short link | A redirect to another page | Opening the destination and checking its identity first |
A real product URL from this site
The jersey listing uses https://weidian.com/item.html?itemID=7777235576. The item.html path and itemID parameter identify its product reference. Open the listing on SuperbuyX and use Weidian Source to compare it. The English title is descriptive; the identifier is the link reference.
Do not convert a shop identifier into this product format. That would create an invented URL, and it could open nothing or the wrong item. Some legitimate product links use marketplace subdomains or contain additional parameters, so inspect the destination rather than relying on one text pattern alone.
How to get the product link
- Open the seller's storefront and choose the actual item.
- Open the item detail page, not just a gallery thumbnail or search result.
- Use the page's share function or copy its address. Remove surrounding copied prose when pasting, but keep the complete URL.
- Open the copied link and confirm the title or image and the product identifier.
- Pass that confirmed URL to the agent, then compare the imported item again.
Handle extra parameters carefully
A share URL can contain tracking or redirect parameters. Do not delete everything after the question mark: the itemID can be there. If you use a clean URL, preserve the exact original ID and confirm the clean address opens the same listing. Never choose a different listing just because it has a similar photo.
SuperbuyX stores the original source URL and its itemID alongside generated purchase links. A source button refers to a product page, not the agent homepage or the seller's shop. Available design or size options still need to be checked on the destination.
What if the shop page does not import?
A shop page and a product import are different operations. Failure to browse a shop in an agent interface does not prove that all its products are unavailable. Open a specific item at the source, copy its product link and try that. Conversely, a readable shop does not prove one item is still available.
For a blank imported listing, follow the troubleshooting decision table. For the full ordering sequence, see buying from Weidian using Superbuy.
